GreasingandLubricatingthe
Tractor
ServiceInterval:Every25hours—Greaseandlubricate
thetractor.Moreoftenindustyor
dirtyconditions.
HowtoGreasetheTractor
1.Disengagethebladecontrol(PTO).
2.Settheparkingbrake.
3.Stoptheengine,removethekey,andwaitforall
movingpartstostopbeforeleavingtheoperating
position.
4.Cleanthegreasettingswitharag.
Note:Ensurethatyouscrapeanypaintoffthe
frontofthettings.
5.Connectagreaseguntoeachttingandpump
greaseintoit.
6.Wipeupanyexcessgrease.
WheretoAddGrease
Lubricatethefrontwheelsandsteeringspindlesuntil
greasebeginstooozeoutofthebearings(Figure25).
