2.0 EDB-2 VAP POWER ON
ORDER OF CONNECTION FOR QUIETEST POWER ON
i) Apply Mute switches
ii) Connect EDB-2 VAP output lead(s) to mixer or other device(s)
iii) Connect lead(s) into guitars or other instrument(s)
iv) Power EDB-2 VAP On via Power switch to Standby (Plug in
Headway DC Power Supply Unit to override batteries)
v) After 7-8 seconds, switch Power from Standby to ON
vi) Connect input lead(s) to EDB-2 VAP
vii) Set Mute(s) to “Live”
If you must pull a lead out while connected live, unplug the jack from
the pre-amplifier, NOT from the instrument, to keep noise down
Ensure switches are not left between settings which may short out
operation until moved into a positive position
EDB-2 VAP features a new 8 second "Slow Power On" to further cut
"plug in" noises while connected live.
Switchcraft, Neutrik, Deltron & GH offer quieter switching jack plugs
3.0 PICKUPS & MICROPHONES TO INTERFACE
EDB-2 VAP can be used with all the main types of microphone
and/or pickups, whether active (powered by battery or phantom), or
passive (non powered)
