before use of your EDB-2 VAP
IMPORTANT: Power only by Headway EDB/VAP PSU version
supplied. Or PP3 (9v) batteries x 2 for backup operation.
Batteries will NOT power valve or USB Charger
DANGER! DO NOT OPEN/ DISASSEMBLE EDB-2 VAP UNLESS
YOU ARE AN ACCREDITED ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN AND
YOU HAVE BEEN SPECIFICALLY AUTHORISED IN ADVANCE
TO DO SO BY HEADWAY MUSIC AUDIO LTD
User Serviceable parts on EDB-2 VAP: Only 12AX7 Valve under
it’s cover, PP3 batteries and the knobs pushed onto pots
(rotary controls). You may use “Switch Cleaner with Lubricant”
from outside of metal enclosure on moving parts
BEWARE! - HIGH VOLTAGES IN PROXIMITY TO VALVE !
( TUBE ). Do NOT open the Valve Cover unless changing the
valve. Ensure Power is OFF and unplug Power Supply Unit and
allow valve to cool down for at least 3 minutes and do NOT
touch metal terminals in case of a capacitive electric shock
