Prior to using a battery-powered tool, carefully read the entire instruction manual
for the battery and battery charger and familiarise yourself with their use.
REPEATEDLY STRESS INJURIES
It is understood that the switching and muscle tension in the fingers, hands, arms and
shoulders can cause pain, swelling, weakness and extreme pain in these parts. Certain
repetitive hand activities you can expose the risk of repeated stress injury (RSI).
To reduce the emergence of RSI, follow this:
Do not expose your wrist twist, bend or stretched position.
Follow the breaks to avoid repetitive strain and let your hands rest. Reduce speed and
strength where you are doing repetitive motion.
Perform exercises to strengthen your wrist and arm muscles.
Visit your doctor if you feel tingling, weakness or pain in the fingers, hands, wrists or arms. The earlier
RSI is diagnosed the more likely it will prevent permanent damage to nerves and muscles.
If you do not follow these guidelines, you can seriously damage health.
KICKBACK
This phenomenon occurs when the cutting mechanism hits against a tree, stake, rock or
other hard objects at fast rotation and high speed. There will be a strong and rapid reverse
movement, called the kickback.
Rebound can cause loss of control over the machine and is very dangerous. During cutting, make
sure that the cutting mechanism is in contact with the cut material in the front third of the left.
Especially if the front right quadrant of the cutting mechanism hits against bushes, clump of
vegetation or similar object, the blade tugs sharply to the right and back.
To prevent the kickback, do not cut from left to right. Make sure the cutting mechanism
does not hit against a solid object.
SAFETY MEASURES FOR CUTTING EQUIPMENT
WARNING! B
Always stop the engine when the problems blocked the cutting mechanism. Never
remove the object that blocked the cutting mechanism if the engine is running. If
the engine is running, the cutting mechanism may start suddenly after unlocking
and cause serious injury.
STRING TRIMMER HEAD
Use the correct cutting mechanism
Use only original trimmer cutting head supplied by the manufacturer.
Failure to comply may cause an accident or serious injury.
Too long string of more than cutting cross-cut knife can leave when you turn on the machine
after setting the length of the strings.Prevention AND FIRST AID
PREPARATION
Keep all guards and deflectors in place and in good working condition.
Check the machine before an each use to determine whether the working tools are not
worn or damaged. Replace worn or damaged parts.
