ADJUST CUTTING WIDTH
The unit features cutting width adjustment function.
Your unit is equipped with a cutting width adjustment lever (fig. 8A) offering 3 different
positions 28 / 30 / 32 cm for cutting width adjustment.
HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
1. Telescopic tube allows to you adjusting of the height of your individual device.
2. Release the height adjust locking clamp (fig. 11A). Gently pull the tube up or down to
the desired height.
3. Close the height adjust locking clamp.
UTILIZATION THE TRIMMER AS AN EDGER
For edging of driveways and paths, transform the trimmer from the trimmer mode to the edging
mode:
1. Hold the tube of the trimmer with one hand and push the rotation button (fig. 12A) by
another hand.
2. Rotate the tube 180º until it locks in the edging mode (fig. 13).
CUTTING LINE EXTENSION
Automatic single-string mechanism
Your device is equipped with an automatic single-string mechanism. The string extends
automatically during every starting process. For the correct functioning of the automatic string
extension mechanism, the spool must have stopped before you restart the device. If the string
is initially longer than the cutting diameter, it is automatically shortened to the right length by
string cutter.
Regularly check the damage of nylon line, and whether a sufficient length of line fixed by cutting
blade. If you need to extend the cutting line, do stop and spin the cutting head (sometimes need
to be repeated). Or manually extend the cutting line.
If the ends of the strings are not visible:
• Spool replacement (see the chapter, ´´Replacement of cutting apparatus„).
Manually set of the cutting line:
• Switch off the trimmer and disconnect the battery.
• Press the lock button (fig. 14A) and string pull outward together.
Note: I Hitting hard and abrasive objects; such as fences, concrete and rocks within and
around long grass may cause the cutting line to disappear and easily be withdrawn from
within the cartridge by following these simple instructions.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
CAUTION! A
To ensure proper functioning of the machine, it is necessary to have it checked and
adjusted by qualified personnel in an authorized service centre at least once a year.
Proper maintenance is essential for safe, economic and trouble-free operation of the machine.
