For safety reasons, replace worn or damaged parts. Only use original spare parts and
accessories. Parts not tested and approved by the equipment manufacturer can cause
unforeseeable damage.
Repair and maintenance work other than described in this section, which are more
complicated, or it needs special tools, let it on our authorized service.
One cycle means one lifting and lowering movement of the load.
Make sure that the individual parts are sufficiently lubricated. Apply grease to the lashing
hook, auxiliary pulley shaft, fuse pins, rope and bearings at least once every six months or
200 cycles.
The rope must be checked every 30 cycles. Rope defects are shown in figure (fig. 4) or
below. If the rope shows any signs of damage (in any part of it), it must be replaced with
a new rope the type of which corresponds to the machine’s specification.
When mounting the rope, it is essential to keep in mind the weight (fig. 1 / part 7) to
ensure a safe stop in an emergency and smooth running.
Check the lashing hook and pulley when checking the rope. Especially their grooves. If
the hook or pulley is damaged, it must be replaced with a suitable one. Check the tightening
of the auxiliary pulley bolt.
Regularly check other wear parts and lashing accessories, such as chains, hooks, belts and
brake linings (if equipped).
Always perform a complete check of the hoist after 100 cycles.
Check regularly that the limit brackets are fully functional. Perform this check without load
by lifting and placing weights. The motor must be shut down.
Check the power cable and the control cable (fig. 1 / part 13) regularly.
Check that the mounting bracket bolts (fig. 1 / part 1) are properly tightened every
1000 cycles.
Before using the rope hoist, make sure that the emergency stop switch (fig. 1 / part 9) and
buttons (fig. 1 / part 10) are in perfect condition.
Check the brake system every 1000 cycles.
If the motor (fig. 1 / part 14) makes unusual noises or cannot increase the rated load,
the brake system may need to be overhauled.
Replace damaged or worn parts and keep the service documentation in a safe place.
Contact an authorized service centre for any unplanned maintenance work.
