CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! A
Before performing any maintenance on your appliance, switch off and unplug
the appliance. Wait till all moving parts are completely stopped.
• Careful handling and regular cleaning ensure that the product remains functional and
efficient for a long time.
• Keep the machine in good condition, if necessary change warning and instruction labels on
the machine.
• Regularly check the grinding disc for damage.
• Keep all nuts, bolts and screws tight to be sure the equipment is in safe working condition.
• Always ensure that the ventilation openings are kept clear of debris.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for safety. Use only original spare parts.
• Once in the season let inspect and maintain the machine in authorised service center.
CLEANING
• Carefully clean the machine after each use.
• Never spray the product with water or expose it to water.
• Never use detergents or solvents for cleaning. This can cause irreparable damage to
the product. The plastic parts can be eaten away by chemicals.
• Brush off coarse dirt.
• Wipe down the product with a slightly damp cloth.
• Do not let the handles contaminate with oil or grease. Clean the handle clean with a damp
cloth washed in soapy water. Do not use solvents or petrol!
STORAGE

The motor must have completely cooled down before storing the machine.
• Disconnect the plug from the power source before storing power tools.
• Replace worn or damaged parts for safety.
• Store the machine in a dry, clean and frost-protected place, out of reach of unauthorized persons.
• Carefully clean the machine after each use.
• Cover unit with a suitable protective cover that does not retain moisture. Do not use sheet plastic as
a dust cover. A nonporous cover will trap moisture around the mower, promoting rust and corrosion.
TRANSPORT
Turn the motor off and disconnect the mains plug. Take care not to drop or strike the machine
when transporting. Do not place objects on the machine.

• Have your device serviced by a qualified repair personnel using only identical replacement
parts. This will ensure that the safety of the device is maintained.
