3. Remove the oil filter screen (5) and
wash it in clean non flammable or high
flash point solvent (kerosene) .
4. Reinstall the filter screen with the
tapered end facing in.
1. Drain the engine oil throughly (page
18-19).
2. Disconnect the clutch cable (1), remove
the kick start pedal (2) and kick stopper
(3) remove right crankcase cover (4).

Clean filters as specified in the
maintenance schedule. Ensure to replace
gasket once removed.
5. Remove centrifugal filter cover (6) &
clean the centrifugal filter (7) with non
flammable or high flash point solvent
(kerosene).
6. Reinstall the centrifugal filter cover,
right crankcase cover and connect the
clutch cable. Install kick stopper and
kick start pedal.
7. Fill the crankcase with clean engine oil
as per specification.
