Replace the air cleaner if it is
excessively dirty, torn or damaged.
Blow away the remaining dust by
forcing compressed air through the air
nozzle (7) from the housing side (8) of
the air cleaner.
Clean the element by tapping it lightly
to loosen dust.

Install the removed parts in the reverse
order of removal.
Air Cleaner Cleaning
Remove the air cleaner element (6).

Never wash the paper filter. Only blow air
in the air cleaner element for cleaning
dust, as explained. Replace air cleaner
element every 12000 kms.
