The air cleaner element is of , it viscous type
should be at regular intervalsreplaced (pages
47) Early replacement may be required .
when riding in unusually wet or dusty areas.
• (page 32)Remove the left floor side cover .
Refer to the safety precautions . (page 46)
AIR CLEANER ELEMENT
• Remove the air cleaner cover (1) by
removing the screws (2)
• left side (page 30)Remove the body cover .
•
Inspect the air cleaner element for any dust
or dirt accumulation.
•
Replace the air cleaner element, if found
choked.
•
Remove the air cleaner assembly (3) from
housing (4).

•
Clean the air cleaner housing (4) using a
shop towel.
•
Install the air cleaner assembly (new, in case
of replacement).

Do not blow compressed air.

Do not wash using any solvent.
