IDLE SPEED
•
Open the seat (page 24).
• Park the vehicle on its main stand on a level
surface.
•
Start the engine and let it idle for few
minutes.
Refer to the safety precautions (page 46).
The engine must be at normal operating
temperature for accurate idle speed
adjustment. Ten minutes of stop and go riding
is sufficient.

Adjust idle speed by adjusting the throttle
stop screw by inserting a suitable screw
driver (2) from the opening provided in
the floor panel as shown.
Ÿ Idle stop screw is visible from the
carburetor maintenance window (3)
provided in the center compartment (4).
Idle speed: 1700±200 rpm
BRAKE SHOE WEAR
When the brake is applied, an arrow mark
(1) on the brake arm (2) moves towards a
reference mark (3) on the brake panel (4).
If the arrow aligns with the reference mark on
full application of the brake, the brake shoes
must be replaced. Visit your Authorised
Distributor/Dealer for this service.
Integrated brake
Refer to the safety precautions (page 46).
The front and integrated brakes are equipped
with brake wear indicators.
