Battery storage
If in case your vehicle is not used for more
then a month remove the battery, fully
charge and store in a cool and dry place.
If the battery is expected to be stored for
more then two months, ensure to fully
charge the battery once in a month.
Always ensure the battery is fully charged
before installation.
Ensure the battery leads are properly
connected to the battery terminals during
installation.
Battery removal
Remove the front upper cover (page 31).
Dislodge fuse boxes (1).
Remove the battery clamp (2) by removing
the bolt (3).
Disconnect the (-)ve terminal lead (4) from
the battery first, then disconnect the (+)ve
terminal lead (5).

Battery installation
Spare fuse (4) : 10A
Check the bolts and other fasteners are
secured properly.
Reinstall in the reverse order of removal. Be
sure to connect the (+)ve terminal first, then
the (-)ve terminal.
The fuse holders (A) and (B) placed above
the battery which consist of main fuse and
spare fuse.
Remove the battery (6).
(A): Main fuse (1) : 15A and 10A
Spare fuse (2) : 15A and 10A
FUSE REPLACEMENT
(B): Main fuse (3) : 10A
(A) & (B): Fuse holders
(1) Main fuse : 15A & 10A
(2) Spare fuse : 15A & 10A
(3) Main fuse : 10A (4) Spare fuse: 10A
