BATTERY
Battery is located behind the front upper
cover.
Refer to the safety precautions (page 46).
It is not necessary to check the battery
electrolyte level or add distilled water as the
battery is of Maintenance Free (sealed)
type. If your battery seems weak and/or
electrolyte is leaking (causing hard starting or
other electrical troubles), contact your
Authorised Distributor/Dealer.

Always visit your Authorised Distributor/
Dealer if you see any symptom of battery
discharge as earliest as possible to get the
battery charged. The battery has a tendency to
discharge rapidly if any additional electrical
accessories are fitted on your vehicle.

old battery must be returned to your
Authorised Distributor/Dealer as it
must be treated as recyclable material.

sealing strip is removed.

battery disposal.
