15 Communication interface
15.1 Optical communication
Comply with IEC62056-21 optical communication physical interface standard.
Front view of optical port
Signal wavelengths: 900nm~1000nm(infrared).
The optical port of the meter has iron absorbing plate in order to well fix the optical
head(have magnetic), to ensure the communication accuracy and to avoid the drop of
optical head by force.
Optical port
Communication standards: IEC62056-21 E mode or DLMS HDLC, default is E
mode. 300bps for standby, 9600 bps for communication (4800～19200bps configurable)
