Chapter 4 Installaon
4.1 Installaon Descripon
●
Install the alarm according to the instrucons in this manual.
●
To prevent injury, please ensure the alarm is securely
aached to the wall or the ceiling.
●
Before
installaon, conrm that the alarm is intact and the mounng parts in the box are all
ready.
●
Do not install the alarm within 30 cm (11.81'') away from power lines to avoid maze
polluon
and alarm caused by the gathering of phototacc insects.
●
Install
mulple devices if the installaon locaon (such as ceiling) is longer than 10 meters
(32.81
).
●
Do not install the alarm at the following locaons:
○
Humid areas including kitchens, water heaters, or bathrooms.
○
Areas
aeted by strong air ow, such as places right in front of air condioners, fans or
heangs.
○
Dusty, dirty, or insect infested areas.
○
Hot and greasy areas such as stoves.
○
Where the sensor might be blocked.
○
Within 1.5 meters (4.92
) from lights.
○
Blind spots such as apexes of ceilings and corners of the rooms.
○
Areas
aected by vibraons, shocks or EMI (the product might be damaged).
○
Areas exposed to spraying water or ther liquids.
4.2
Mounng Locaon
When mounng the alarm on at ceilings, locate it at a minimum distance of 500 mm (19.69'')
from the side wall.
