8.2.2.5 Installation procedure
CAUTION
• Read carefully “Installation Manual” attached with the RAC adaptor and follow the information provided for installation and mainte-
nance.
• If a wiring is performed when the power is ON, the equipment may be damaged. Ensure that the power is turned OFF before a wiring.
• Do not install all the transmission cables or signal cables along with the power line or other signal cables. It may cause of malfunc-
tion by the noise. If it is required to run the cable along with, keep a distance more than 15cm for H-LINK (more than 30cm for other
cables), or insert the cables for each transmission system into the conduit tube and earth one end of the conduit tube. Ensure that the
case must be earthed.
1 RAC adapter can be installed to the wall as well as on the air-conditioner itself.
2 Install RAC adapter in the vertical surface as shown below.

3 Installation procedure
a. When installing to the wall.
i. Fix the adapter with 2 screws. Tapping screw is for metal surface, and other screw is for wooden surface.
