SETTING THE DATE
This Video Camera/ Recorder is capable of superimposing the calendar on the picture.
“DISPLAY” Button
“SET” Button
1. In record/pause (stand-by) mode, press
“DISPLAY” Button once. The 6-digit date graphics
appears in the Viewfinder.

pressing
“SHIFT”
and
“SET”
Buttons
in
order
of
month,
day
and
year
(for
example
10.27.87
for
October
27,
1987)
as
described
below.
The
calendar
is
initialized
on
1.1.87.
2. Press “SHIFT Button once and the “month”
flashes. Press “‘SET’’ Button to select correct
month. Hold Button down to advance rapidly.
When the correct month appears, press ‘SHIFT’
Button.

3. Press ““SET” Button to select correct day. Hold But-
ton down to advance rapidly. When the correct day
appears, press “SHIFT” Button.

4. Press “SET” Button to select correct year. Hold
Button down to advance rapidly. When the correct
year appears, press ‘“SHIFT’ Button. Now the date
has been set.

5. Press Record Start/Stop Button or ‘“STILL/
REC/PAUSE” Button to start recording. The date
can be superimposed.
NOTES:
¢ Set the date each time shooting takes place.
© The date will stay in the memory for about four hours after power is turned off.
