3.1 Appearance and each part name
The following is the external description of WJ-PN. For more information about LEDs and connectors,
please refer to the page mentioned.
LEDs:
These LEDs describe PROFINET states.
From left side:
- L / A 1
- L / A 2
- COMM
- ERR
Connectors:
You can connect the option to the
PROFINET network via these
connectors. Connector type is RJ-45,
electrical characteristics conform to
IEEE802.3 standard.
The left side is port 1, and the right side
is port 2.
NOTE:
Please fix the connected PROFINET
cables to prevent mechanical failure by
the vibration/gravity.
Install the ferrite core (included in
shipment) on the LAN cables (both port
1 and 2) near the connectors.
