The following applies for the interior ttings
•Cleantheinteriorofyourmotorhome.Hoovercarpets,
cushions and mattresses. If possible, store them outside the
mobile home. Otherwise, place them in such a way inside
the vehicle that they do not come into contact with conden-
sation.
•Usesoapywatertocleanlinoleumandsmoothsurfaces.
•Emptyandcleantherefrigerator.Leavetherefrigerator
door in the ventilation position (see 10.6).
•Aftercleaningthem,leavestowagespaces,cupboards,
drawersandfurnitureapsopentofacilitateaircirculation.
•Leaveventsforforcedventilationopen.Ifthemobilehome
is kept in a closed space, you can leave the skylight open.
•Airthemobilehomethoroughlyeveryfourtosixweeks
when the weather is dry.
•Setupadehumidier(suchassalt)insidethemotorhome
and dry the granulate or change it regularly.
• Openthebattery'scircuitbreaker.
• Ifnecessary,heatthecampertopreventthebuild-upof
mould from condensation.
• Switchothe12Vmainswitch.
The following applies for your preparations:
• Checkthevehiclefordamagetothepaintworkorfrom
rust and, if necessary, repair it.
• Ensurethatwatercannotrunintotheventilationandde-
aerating and heating systems.
• Useawax-basedprotectiveagenttoprotectthemetal
parts of the undercarriage against rust.
• Preservevarnishedexternalsurfaceswithsuitableagents.
• Fillthepetroltankwithwinterdiesel;checktheantifreezer
in the windshield cleaning unit and the coolant.
12.7 Winter Operation
Preparations
Your motor home has been designed to allow you to use it to
a certain extent in winter. If you really wish to camp in winter,
we recommend that you optimize your motor home to meet
your personal requirements. Your dealer will be pleased to
advise you.
