OUTBOARD MOTOR ATTACHMENT
Attach the stern bracket to the tran-
som and.tighten the clamp screws.
1 NOTICE 1
Before operating the boat, check
the tightness of the clamp screws.
Tie a rope through the hole in the
stem bracketandsecure the other
end of the rope to the boat. This
will prevent accidental loss of the
motor.
To prevent the outboard motor from
falling accidentally, you may further
secure the stern bracket to the tran-
som board with commercially avail-
able bolts, nuts and washers.
After attaching the stern bracket to
the transom board, be sure to apply
sealant (THREEBOND 1216 or
equivalent) to the bolt holes.
This modification should be made
by your authorized Honda marine
dealer.
