SERVICING YOUR HONDA OUTBOARD MOTOR
REFUELING
Fuel tank capacity: 0.26 US gal (1.0 4?, 0.22 Imp gal)
With the engine stopped, turn the
NJELFuE~~*P
VENT KNOB
vent knob counterclockwise to the
open position and remove the fuel
filler cap.
Refill the fuel tank if the fuel level is
low.
Gasoline is highly flammable
and explosive.
FUEL TANK MAXIMUM FUEL LEVEL
You can be burned or seriously
injured when handling fuel.

l Stop the engine and keep

heat, sparks, and flame away.
l Handle fuel only outdoors.

l Wipe up spills immediately.

Refuel in a well-ventilated area before starting the engine. If the engine has
been running, allow it to cool. Refuel carefully to avoid spilling fuel. Inspect the
condition of the fuel filler cap gasket and replace if necessary.
After refilling, install and tighten the fuel filler cap securely. Turn the vent knob
clockwise to the closed position.
Spilled fuel is not only a fire hazard, it causes environmental damage. Wipe
up spills immediately.
Fuel can damage paint and plastic. Be careful not to spill fuel when filling your
fuel tank. Damage caused by spilled fuel is not covered under warranty.
