CARBURETOWMANIFOLD
REMOVAL
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured when han-
dling fuel.
Keep heat, sparks, and flame away.
Handle fuel only outdoors.
Wipe up spills immediately.
1)
Remove the engine cover.
2)
Remove the flywheel cover (P.
6-1).
3)
Drain the carburetor
by
loosening the drain screws.
4) Pull
off
the breather tube from the silencer cover.
5)
Remove the 14P connector (remote control box wire
harness or tiller handle main wire harness) and 2P
connector
(SE
thermal valve heater wire) from the
connector holders, and disconnect the 2P connector.
6)
Disconnect the throttle rod from the throttle cam.
