CONTROLS AND FEATURES
(BF4A)
The fuel valve opens and closes the
passage between the internal fuel tank
and the carburetor.
The fuel valve lever must be in the
ON position for the engine to run.
When the engine is not in use, leave
the fuel valve lever in the OFF
position to prevent carburetor
flooding and to reduce the possibility
of fuel leakage.
(BF5D and BF6A)
The fuel valve lever has internal fuel
tank position and portable fuel tank
position.
When using the internal fuel tank,
turn the fuel valve lever to the
internal fuel tank position.
When not connecting the portable
fuel tank, fuel is shut off at the
portable fuel tank position.
When using the portable fuel tank,
turn the fuel valve lever all the way to
the portable fuel tank position.
