OPERATION
GEARSHIFTING AND
THROTTLE OPERATION
To shift gears, turn the throttle grip to
the SLOW position; then move the
gearshift lever to select the F
(forward), N (neutral), or R (reverse)
gears.
Do not turn the throttle grip in the
FAST direction in R (reverse) and N
(neutral) gears.
The recoil starter can be operated
with the gearshift lever in the N
(neutral) position only.
