OPERATION
8. Remove the two 6 mm cap nuts,
two washers, two 6 mm flange
bolts and two washers, and remove
the recoil case.
Take care not to lose the bolts, nuts
and washers.
9. Install and tighten the 6 mm flange
bolts by hand.
10.Hook the throttle cables to the
cord hook.
11.Hook the neutral start cable to the
under case.
12.Make sure the shift lever in the N
(neutral) position.
The ‘‘Neutral Starting System’’ will not
work in emergency starting.
Be sure to set the shift lever into N
(neutral) position to prevent start-in-gear
when starting the engine in emergency.
Sudden unexpected acceleration could
result in serious injury or death.
