Apply clean engine oil to the camshaft lobes and -:7M
bearings. Ii
Install the camshaft into the cylinder head with its
cam lobes facing the combustion chamber while
holding the rocker arms.
Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise and
align the
"T" mark on t he flywhee l with the index notch on
the left crankcase.
Install the dowel pin and cam sprocket. ::~~~ i~~;~~ !~~~~i
Install the cam sprocket with its · a . mark with the
index notch on the cylinder head. NOTCH
Install and tighten the cam sprocket bolts to the
specified torque.
TORQUE: 8.8 N·m (0.9 kgf ·m, 6.5 IbUt )
Install the cylinder head left side cover onto the cyl-
inder head with a new gasket.
