FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSION/STEERING
FORK
Install the distance collar [1].
Drive
in
a new right bearing
[2]
squarely with its sealed
side facing
up
until its inner race
is
seated
on
the
distance collar.

INSTALLATION

Install the side collars [1]
to
both side of the wheel.
Install the front wheel between the fork legs while
inserting the disc between the pads.
Apply thin coat of grease to the front axle
[1]
sliding
surface and install it from the right side.
Install the axle nut
[2]
and tighten it
to
the specified
torque.
TORQUE: 59 N·m (6.0 kgf·m, 44
lbHt)
REMOVAL
Remove the following:
- Front fender (page 2-5)
- Front wheel (page 17-6)
Support the front
Remove the mounting bolts
[1]
and front brake caliper
