Before Leaving Your Vehicle
1. Move the gearshift lever to the “P” position.

2. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK (0) position,
and remove the ignition key from the ignition switch.
3. Exit the vehicle and take the ignition key with you.
4. Check that all the doors are closed.
5. Check that the tailgate (and the hatch glass if
equipped) or the trunk lid is closed.

6. Lock the doors and tailgate or trunk lid.
