Start
Green LED starts to flash.
During sample collection the test person must breathe
into the device with a sufficiently large respiratory flow,
evenly and without interruptions. A breathed air volume
from 1.2 liters must achieved.
Audible + Optical Signal
A proper blow-in procedure is indicated by an audible
signal and the flashing yellow LED.
End
The blow-in procedure is finished if no audible signal is
present and the yellow LED turns off.
The yellow LED is flashing during the evaluation of the
breath sample. Depending on the alcohol concentration
this can take several seconds. Device indicates end of
the analysis with a single audible signal.
Display of the measurement data and alcohol value.
The re
sult is saved automatically into the device
memory.
If the measurement result exceeds the upper limit of
the specified measurement range the device will not
show any numeric result but indicating “ > ”.
