Installing an auxiliary unit
Considerations when installing an auxiliary unit on your Orion
Console.
Auxiliary units can be added to your Experion Orion Console, enabling
you to store more equipment in your console. This section explains
how to install an auxiliary unit on your console.
Prerequisites
To complete this installation you will need:
n The 1–1/2 inch button head bolts that came with the unit.
n 5/32” hex driver
n 3 tech screws
To install an auxiliary unit
1. Remove the base of the auxiliary unit and the work surface from
the shipping crate and use a dolly or trolley to move them close to
their final installation position. The units are very heavy; you will
need three people to move the base and two people to move the
work surface.
2. To install the work surface, place the work surface on top of the
base brackets and align the mounting holes, then use the hex
driver to tighten the bolts.
