Using the Setup Wizard
The setup wizard starts by default when you turn on the DVR. The wizard will guide you through
the initial setup of the DVR.
Note It is strongly recommended that you use the supplied mouse to set up and
operate the DVR. If you have not already done so, plug the mouse into the USB
on the rear panel of the DVR.
1. The Start wizard when device starts? check box is enabled by default. If you want to
stop the setup wizard from starting each time you turn on the DVR, clear the check box.
2. Click Next to continue to the next screen.
3. Click the Admin Password field to display the on-screen numerical keypad, enter your
DVR’s admin password (the default admin password is 12345), and then click Enter.
