Backlight Option
The T8635L has a backlight that is activated:
— on-demand: the thermostat is pre-set to turn on the
backlight when any key is pressed.
— continuously: set Installer Setup No. 44 to 1 for
applications where the display is difficult to read due
to poor lighting conditions.
Advanced Settings
These settings are automatically configured during Dis-
covery and should not be changed when using the
T8635L with the W8635A or W8635B EIM.
The advanced settings, see Table 7, are not available to
view or change when the ADV setting is set to Off.
When ADV is set to Off, press to scroll to the
beginning of the Installer Setup selections.
NOTE: If any of the settings in ADV are inadvertently
changed, press Enter and run Discovery mode
to reset the settings to the original selection.
ENTERING INSTALLER SETUP
To enter Installer Setup:
— simultaneously press and hold the , ▲ and ▼ keys
until Installer Setup No. 1 is displayed.
— all display segments appear for approximately three
seconds before Installer Setup No.1 is displayed.

1. To advance to the next Installer Setup No., press
the key.
2. To go back, press the key.
3. To change an Installer Setup, use the ▲ or ▼ key.
4. To exit Installer Setup, press Run Program key.
