Why Hoover Vacuum Cleaner has low suction?
- JJohnny NorrisJul 31, 2025
If your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner isn't picking up dirt, or if you notice low suction, several factors could be the cause. Start by checking if the Rinsable Filter and/or the filter made with HEPA media is dirty and clean it. Also, the dirt cup might be full or clogged, so empty it. A broken or worn belt can also cause this issue, so replace it if necessary. Check the brushroll and hose for clogs. Ensure that the carpet height setting is correct for your carpet type. Finally, make sure the Suction Only Mode is turned off by stepping on the Brushroll ON/OFF Pedal.
