  Your Hoover Vacuum Cleaner might not be running due to several reasons: the power cord may not be firmly plugged into the outlet, so ensure it is plugged in properly. It's also possible that a fuse has blown or a breaker has tripped; check and replace the fuse or reset the breaker. Another potential cause is activation of the Thermal Protector; if this is the case, unplug the vacuum and allow it to cool for 30 minutes to reset the protector.
