Operations
Lift the ‘label deck’ and run the label leader over the roller at the top of the ‘transfer roller arm’
and bring it down between the ‘transfer roller arm’ and the ‘drive arm’ assembly as shown in
Diagram 4.3b

Next, feed the leader along the guide roller at the base of the ‘transfer roller arm’ and onto the
core reel on the ‘take up’ mandrel. Use a label to secure the label leader to the core reel.
By turning the label advance knob clockwise, the label leader will wind onto the ‘take up’
mandrel. Spin it a few time to check that the label leader is secured to the core reel.
The label media reel is now installed and ready for operation.
