Vent cover (interior) on fanless models

Fanless models require that you install a cover on the inside of the computer over the air vent holes.
IMPORTANT: Do not install the vent cover in models with a fan. Doing so will cause thermal performance
problems.
Before installing the interior vent cover, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 26).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 27).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 29).
Install the interior vent cover:
1. Fold the cover along the dotted lines in the middle of the cover.
2. Install the cover of the fan vent, making sure the cover aligns correctly with the hooks along the top of
the vent.
