To install the touchpad, reverse this procedure.

To remove the fan, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the fan, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover and rubber feet on page 30).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 32).
Remove the fan assembly from UMA models:
1. Remove the three Phillips M2.0 × 4.0 screws (1) that secure the fan to the computer.
2. Disconnect the fan cable from the system board (2), and then remove the fan from the computer (3).
