Troubleshooting ACL
This section provides troubleshooting information for common problems with ACLs.
ACL application failure with an error message
Symptom
The system fails to apply a packet filter or an ACL-based QoS policy to the hardware. It also displays the
"Reason: Not enough hardware resource" message.
Solution
To resolve the problem:
1. Execute the display qos-acl resource command, and then check the Remaining field for ACL
resources insufficiency.
If this field displays 0, the ACL hardware resources are exhausted.
2. To free hardware resources, delete unnecessary ACLs.
3. If the problem persists, contact HP Support.
