Unsupported card The card in the
memory slot is
not a memory
card or is not a
supported
memory card.
Ensure that the card is the
proper type for your
camera (see Appendix C:
Specifications on
page 77).
The card requires
formatting
The memory
card needs to be
formatted.
Press OK to display the
Format Card option in the
Delete menu. This will
delete all data on the card.
The card is locked The memory
card is write-
protected.
Unlock the memory card
(latch on edge of card) or
insert a new card.
The card is too full
to move any
images
There is
insufficient room
to move images
to the memory
card.
Unload images from the
memory card to your
computer, then delete all
images on the memory
card.
Invalid date The date was set
incorrectly.
Enter the correct date.
Unsupported
image file
You are trying to
record audio,
magnify, rotate,
or print an
image file that
was not created
by this camera.
Use the computer software
to manipulate the file.
Memory is too full
OR
The card is too full
There is
insufficient room
to rotate an
image or to
record audio.
Unload the images from
the camera or delete
unwanted images.
