Isolation
is
a
measure
of
the leak
age

The
isolation
error
terms
are

haracterized

y
measuring
transmission
(S21,
S12)
with
loads
attac
hed
to

oth

orts
during
the
error-correction
pro
cedure.
Since
these
terms
are

w
in
magnitude,
they are
usually noisy
(not
v
ery
rep
eatable).
The
error
term
magnitude

hanges
dramatically
with
IF
bandwidth
:

bandwidth m
