test
set
contains
a switc
hed
frequency
doubler
to
double
the
HP
8753C
source
frequency
.
A

signal

coupled

analyzer

the
frequency
doubler

ypassed
since
the
analyzer's
source
is
capable
of
generating
a

RF
signal
up

The
remaining
signal

routed
through
a
70
dB
programmable step
attenuator
to
the
directional couplers
for reî™…ection
and transmission
measurements.
The
couplers
allo
w
detection
of
the
signal
from
300
kHz
to
6
GHz.
These
couplers
pro
vide
lo
w
insertion
loss
b
et
w
een
the
RF
input
and
the
test
ports.
Two
bias tees
supply
external
biasing
for
activ
e
devices.
An HP
8753D Option
006/011 is
required
for
use
with
the
HP
85047A
test
set.
