4. Turn the computer right-side up with the front toward you.
5. Disconnect the speaker cable 1 from the system board.

Step 6 applies only to computer models with a
fingerprint reader.
6. Disconnect the fingerprint reader cable 2 from the
system board.
7. Remove the four Torx8 T8M2.5×4.0 screws 3 that secure the
top cover to the computer.
