Fingerprint reader cable
To remove the ngerprint reader cable, use this procedure and illustration.
NOTE: The ngerprint reader cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part number N09289-001.
Before removing the ngerprint reader cable, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 41).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 41).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 43).
4. Remove the right speaker (see Speakers on page 47).
5. Remove the ngerprint reader (see Fingerprint reader on page 62).
Remove the ngerprint reader cable:
▲ Release the ZIF connector (1) to which the ngerprint reader cable is connected, and then disconnect the
ngerprint reader cable (2) from the ngerprint reader.
Reverse this procedure to install thengerprint reader cable.
RTC battery
To remove the RTC battery, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing theRTC battery, follow these steps:

Remove the RTC battery:
1. Disconnect the RTC battery cable (1) from the system board.
