Slim optical drive
Follow these steps to remove a slim optical drive:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 23).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 24).
3. Remove the front bezel (see Front bezel on page 25).
4. Disconnect the power cable (1) and data cable (2) from the rear of the slim optical drive.
5. Press the release lever on the back of the slim optical drive (1).
6. Remove the slim optical drive (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the slim optical drive.
