Hard drives
Follow these steps to remove a 2.5-inch hard drive:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 28).
2. Remove the access panel (see Access panel on page 29).
3. Disconnect the power cable (1) from the 2.5-inch hard drive.
4. Disconnect the data cable (2) from the 2.5-inch hard drive.
5. Release the retention clip (1) that secures the 2.5-inch drive cage to the main drive cage.
6. Slide the 2.5-inch hard drive cage to the left as far as it will go, and then remove the 2.5-inch hard drive
cage (3).
