The server supports eight SAS or SATA hot-plug hard drives. See "SAS and SATA hard drive guidelines
(on page 45)" for information about installing the hard drives.

Item LED description Status
1 Fault/UID status Amber = Drive failure
Flashing amber = Fault-process activity
Blue = Unit identification is active
Off = No fault-process activity
