Before removing the solid-state drive, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 14).
2. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 14).
3. Remove the memory fan (see Fans on page 16).
Remove the solid state drive (SSD):
1. Peel back and lift the protective tape from the solid-state drive.
2. Remove the Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (1) that secures the solid-state drive, and then pull the solid-state
drive out of the socket (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the solid-state drive.
