Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 14).
2. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 14).
3. Remove the fans (see Fans on page 16).
4. Remove the WLAN antenna (see WLAN antenna on page 21).
5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 24).
6. Remove the heat sink (see Heat sink on page 26).
7. Remove the battery connector cable and assembly (see Battery connector and cable assembly
on page 29).
Remove the system board:
1. If replacing the system board, make sure to remove the following components from the old system
board and install on the new system board:
● Memory module (Memory modules on page 19).
● Solid-state drive (Solid state drive on page 18).
● WLAN module (WLAN module on page 22)
