Before removing the DC-out power connector, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 14).
2. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 14).
3. Remove the graphics fan (see Fans on page 16).
4. Remove the WLAN antenna (see WLAN antenna on page 21).
5. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 24).
6. Remove the heat sink (see Heat sink on page 26).
7. Remove the WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 22).
8. Remove the system board (see System board on page 30).
Remove the DC-out power connector:
1. Remove the Phillips M2.5 × 4.5 screw (1) that secures the power button cover to the computer.
2. Remove the cover from the computer (2).
3. Remove the two Phillips M2.5 × 4.5 screws (1) that secure the power connector bracket to the computer.
4. Remove the bracket from the computer (2).
