Before removing the WLAN antenna, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 14).
2. Remove the top cover (see Top cover on page 14).
Remove the WLAN antenna:
1. Remove Phillips M2.0 × 3.0 screw (1) and the Phillips M2.5 × 4.0 screw (2) that secures the antenna to
the computer.
2. Lift the WLAN antenna enough to access the WLAN module underneath (3), and then disconnect the
antenna cables from the WLAN module (4).
Reverse this procedure to install the WLAN antenna.
